Pageant Costumes
This exhibit spotlights the handmade costumes that actors wore in the Hill Cumorah Pageant.
The photographs and accompanying metadata were produced during a "History Harvest" event in class on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
All the costumes appear courtesy of the Jerry and Gail Argetsinger Collection Pageant-related materials. Gail Argetsinger joined the Pageant as a costume designer in 1977 and worked on the Pageant through the 1997 season. According to Gail, the costumes featured in this collection were used in the Pageant (approximately) between 1980 and 2004.
